As the manufacturer makes improvements to your machine’s firmware, these updates will be made available to you. It is important to keep the firmware up-to-date on your machine to keep it running smoothly. Updating the firmware is also a common fix for many troubleshooting issues.
If your machine is connected to Wi-Fi, your updates will install automatically. If you’re connected via Bluetooth, you will get a notification when firmware updates are available.
If your machine’s console does not light but your machine is receiving power, a previous update may not have been fully installed.
To manually install updates on Bluetooth machines (not touchscreen):

To manually install updates on Bluetooth machines (not touchscreen):
- Open the iFIT app.
- Pair your phone to your equipment via Bluetooth. See this article for more details.
- Using your phone, follow the remaining instructions in the next section.
- Tap the menu button (three horizontal lines) at the top left of the screen.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Maintenance.
- If an update is available, tap Update to install; otherwise, it will already say Up To Date.
- Please stay within range of your machine until the update is complete. Depending on your Wi-Fi connection, it may take 15-20 minutes to install. During that time, the screen on your machine may go dark. Wait for the screen to say Update Complete, then tap OK.
- If the update happens to fail, close the app then reopen it. Attempt the update until it successfully installs.
