As the manufacturer makes improvements to your machine’s firmware, these updates will be made available to you. It is important to keep the firmware up-to-date on your machine to keep it running smoothly. Updating the firmware is also a common fix for many troubleshooting issues.

If your machine is connected to Wi-Fi, your updates will install automatically. If you’re connected via Bluetooth, you will get a notification when firmware updates are available.

If your machine’s console does not light but your machine is receiving power, a previous update may not have been fully installed.

To manually install updates on Bluetooth machines (not touchscreen):
  1. Open the iFIT app.
  2. Pair your phone to your equipment via Bluetooth. See this article for more details.
  3. Using your phone, follow the remaining instructions in the next section.
To manually install updates on a touchscreen console:
  1. Tap the menu button (three horizontal lines) at the top left of the screen.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Maintenance.
  4. If an update is available, tap Update to install; otherwise, it will already say Up To Date.
  5. Please stay within range of your machine until the update is complete. Depending on your Wi-Fi connection, it may take 15-20 minutes to install. During that time, the screen on your machine may go dark. Wait for the screen to say Update Complete, then tap OK.
  6. If the update happens to fail, close the app then reopen it. Attempt the update until it successfully installs.
